Your child will be safe and happy with us. We have some real fun activities lined up to help aid their learning through the grade 1 environment.

In grade 1, we class teachers teach all the core subjects. Only the co-curricular subjects like art, PE, music etc. are handled by the concerned teachers, but we naturally see our babies there!

To settle your anxieties, we have put down answers to some queries that you may have

  • How does my child find his class on the first day?

Once they reach school, the children are ushered for assembly. We will be there to ensure that they are in the right group. We will lead them to their classrooms.

  • What should I send for snack or lunch?

Send what they like best, especially during the initial weeks, but help us ensure that it is healthy! Also let’s refrain from sending an elaborate snack in case your child is having breakfast before coming to school.

  • How does my child leave at the end of the day?

If your child takes the school bus, we will lead him there. If you are picking him up, do wait for us at the School’s main gate.

  • What will my child be learn every day?

We will do subjects like maths, English, science and second language through many exciting activities; we also have fun with phonics, learning two new sounds every week.

There will be an assessment every friday on the sounds they have learnt over the week. Through the year we will be doing a variety of activities which aim at their learning letter and sounds scheme.

We also do some art, PE, swimming, skating, music and dance through the week.

  • When do I come and meet the class teacher to talk about my child?

We wish to meet you in person to discuss your child's progress. For this, we will fix a prior date with you.

Should you want to meet us, you are free to fix an appointment on the allocated day of the week, when we are free. We value your time and would not want to keep you waiting, so please go by this procedure. We are always only a note away, so do put in your concerns in the appropriate section of the Almanac to communicate with us.

Your child is in a home away from home and we will always be there for him/her!
