Inspired by the conviction to make a change in the field of education, Shanthi Menon, a rank holder from Stella Maris College, Chennai, acquired a degree in education after completing her graduation in English Literature. While pursuing a teaching career in some very prestigious institutions including the Bhavan's schools in Chennai and Hyderabad, Shanthi brought highly interactive and fun educational experiences to her classrooms, while establishing high classroom standards.

Shanthi Menon served as the coordinator at the CMR National Public School, Bangalore. Her zest for education and her management acumen led her to take on the mantle of Head of Gopalan International School, Bangalore. She has to her credit the distinction of being a core part of the group which wrote the curriculum and set up this institution.

She has brought with her the experience and the expertise to set up The Deen's Academy, at Whitefield. As the Founder Principal of The Deen's Academy, Shanthi with her vision, intense dedication and strategic planning, has been able to steer the school towards newer horizons. An able administrator, Ms Menon has further honed this skill through a Leadership and Management Training Course with The Teacher Foundation, Bangalore, thus effectively inspiring, challenging and promoting excellence and generating high expectation within the School community. Shanthi Menon is currently pursuing her masters in education and a trainers degree from the Cambridge University.

Running parallel to her chosen career is her talent in the field of dance. A trained Bharatanatyam and Mohiniattam dancer, Ms. Menon has performed extensively and has to her credit many choreographies and events which have won her many laurels. She has been an auditioned artist at Doordarshan, Chennai. Ms.Menon has also to her credit some modelling assignments and she anchors events and dance programmes. Shanthi is also trained in Carnatic music and is a creative artist who gives life to Tanjore paintings as well.
