Experiential Learning

Field trips at Deens Academy

A metro ride, Visits to museums and the planetarium, an assembly line, a restaurant, a plant nursery, an animal farm, Hikes, treks and cave exploration are a few examples of field trips that are conducted across various grades at the Deens Academy.

Experiential learning is an integral part of the Deens Philosophy which focuses on all around awareness to offer children lessons beyond, reading, writing and watching videos in the classroom.

When children collect their own algae samples, Little Kindergarteners draw maps from their observations of bus rides,  when you create planters from cement and grow your own plants…The relevance of what they have learnt increases multifold. Our School field trips are a one such effective educational activity for students that helps facilitate fast and efficient learning.
